So... blah blah blah, da da da, yadda yadda yadda, etc etc etc and so on and so forth. Life is such a routine. Ya, what's new. No it's not a question. It's a statement.
My "bird flu" -as Uncle Dennis puts it- is still bugging me, it's so bad that it feels like I'm breathing in ammonia.
So. People change. Some change for the better. Some change for the worst. Some... disappear. Some... almost non-existant. Some found new ones and forget old ones. Some make more and some are erased from their list. I'm not gonna mention who but they know who they are. I dunno where this came from but nvm...
So now she's a columnist for New Paper. Somehow, her writing has lost its value. She's better as a blogger before publicity and fame got into her head but she's earning lots, so lucky her. I guess when you're expected to write somethin and plus, a deadline to meet... somehow the magic is gone and you can't think of anything to write. Because you'll be trying too hard to find a topic to amuse everybody. You wanna be yourself but your piece has to be as unique/different as possible every week. Not as easy as it seems.
But Jason Hahn does it well, and so does Raymond Goh. But of course, they're armed with years of experience and talent. And somehow, strangely enough, their lives are filled with funny funny things and funny funny, weird people. Either that, or they're so gd that they can write abt sumthin so normal tt all of us overlooked in our everyday lives. Kudos to em!
Me. I'm still looking for my
ideal job. That would be:
- I can start work as and when I like. Heh.
- I dun hv to wake up SO darn early in the morn
- And face the hassle of meeting sick ppl in a crowded bus/mrt.
- Not an office-bound, boring job.
- I dun wanna hv to start work ealier than 10. (And tt is after much consideration ok)
- I can work at my own pace.
- Doing what I like to do.
- To meet ppl from all walks of life.
- Would be gd if I can do documentaries on children all over the world.
- Then I get to travel at the same time.
- Where I can be myself and no politics where colleagues are like family.
It's not so much abt the pay but more of what I like to do and enjoy doing it. With no sickening, unreasonable superiors or bosses to face everyday. My current job is a pain in the arse that at the age of barely 21, I'm already looking forward to my retirement. Not forgetting the fact tt I just started work less than 3 months ago. Yes, it's tt bad. Or rather I dun like to work. I dun like to work like how I'm working rite now. It sucks.
But in life, there's no such thin as easy money or easy life so maybe I'll give myself a few more painful years and I'll be outta here...
