"IT" @ 8:43 am
Amazing what "it" can do to you. When you're in "it" or out of "it", things around you
will start to change. Here are some of the signs (whether you realise it or not) I pick up from friends around...
- Your MSN/Yahoo/ICQ nick will change from hour to hour, min to min - usually mushy or very feeling-feeling. Otherwise, it'll be qoutes related to "it".
- Your blog will be about "it". When you're happy and in love, everything will be about him/her. When you're heartbroken, everything will be about him/her.
- Friends will ask if you're ok and you say, "Yah, I'm fine..." but your blog says it all.
- When out of "it", he/she will be addressed as 'he' or 'her' or 'you' or fancy expletives.
- When in "it", he/she will be addressed as "Dar" or "Dear" or "Honey-bunny" or "Hubby" or "Laopo" or "Laogong" or what nots.
- When in "it" - you start listening to love songs from the likes of Jessica Simpson, The Bangles, Bosson, Chinese love songs, Malay love songs, Indian love songs, Spanish love songs, Japanese love songs etc etc... basically anything lovey-dovey tt
suddenly holds a special meaning to the budding relationship.
- When out of "it" - you start listening to heartbroken songs from the likes of Akon, Bon Jovi, Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart is a popular one, Chinese sad songs, Malay sad songs, Indian sad songs, Spanish sad songs, Japanese sad songs etc etc... tt
suddenly explains how crappy you're feeling.
- When over "it" (or trying to get over "it") - you start listening to angry songs from the likes of Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Mary J Blige, Eamon's **** It (Don't want you back) etc etc... tt
suddenly you can connect to with so much angst.
Well these are just some of it. Not that I have anything against it but just some things I observe. I can understand really, it's just funny when I think about it.
For me, I'm tired of having to deal with it. I dun wanna deal with it. And I will tell it like it is. Maybe it's this cynical mind of mine. I must be cynical since a fren said so. So cynical tt it changed my perspective tt there are real, honest, sincere, good men out there. So too bad for me I guess.
