Like a brown, withered leaf
Fallen upon rippled waters
She weeps in her sleep
Till she drowns herself deeper
Step into the dark dominion
Every other night
Curled up in her pool of blankets
And lamented for her right
Her sorrow seeps through
Her scarred little soul
In an orbit full of crowded bodies
She is all alone, forlorn
Heart is hard and cold
Eyes swollen, brown eyes blue
Still a smile is etched on her face
A disguise to dismiss the honest truth
The hurt inside... stay away from all the hatred. The happiness that she seeks. Always, always.........
When will it be?
