Manelah si dia ni...This office of mine is so bloody cold, I feel like I'm slowly turning into ice. Sometimes I wonder how the penguins in the Antarctica can still go swimming in the icy water. Yah I know they're SO blessed with superb body muscle and feathers... lucky em.
"It's penguins blubber layer that protects them against the cold more than anything while in the sea. On the land however their feathers have a very valuable function in keeping them warm. Penguin feathers aren't like the large flat feathers that flying birds have, they are short with an under-layer of fine woolly down. Penguin feathers are also very good at shedding water when the bird emerges from the sea. They overlap and give a good streamlined effect in the water and excellent wind-shedding abilities when on the land. When it gets very cold, penguins can puff their feathers out to trap more air for even better insulation. When it gets too hot (like as high as freezing point even!) they fluff their feathers out even more so that the trapped warm air can escape and enable the penguin to cool down."Source: http://www.coolantarctica.com/Antarctica%20fact%20file/science/cold_penguins.htmThe wonders of GOD. Amazing.
Sometimes, seeing things is not good huh. I saw something I shouldn't have seen. Physically still the same. Again I was reminded of the good ol' days. It will always put a smile on my face... but sad to say, it's all in the past.
There's nothing I can do about it.
