Really Abnormal. @ 11:31 am
In one of my classes, there's bound to be someone who's slightly abnormal. Other than myself, of course. This time, I'm taking up Abnormal Psychology and there's
really someone abnormal! Last Fri tutorial's, we were suppose to do some case study and one was to play a role as the abnormal patient. She was in my group, unfortunately (cos the rest of them fleed to other group). But she proved to be of no threat to our group. Just a harmless self-centered puny lil pea.
As for the role-playing, I said to a group mate,
"Hey! She fits that role perfectly well! She'll do a brilliant job, I'm sure." And she laughed her head off. Abnormal girl kept insisting she's right but nothing came out of her. So I challenged her.
Abnormality: *rudely* Yah! We're suppose to come up with some hypothesis and some scenario.
Girl No. 1: Yah but like what? What does she expect from us? A set of questions?
Abnormality: *rudely* NO! NO! Hypothesis! Some hypothesis as to what is going on?
*I was getting impatient.*
Me: *straight-faced* Okay. So can you give us one of
your hypothesis then?
*silence, you can hear the crickets...*
Abnormality: *kept quiet but was clearly pissed off, until the dicussion ends*
We ignored her of course. And we did well. No thanks to her.
She's in the wrong course, I tell ya. She should be sent to some anger management therapy or something. Earlier, she was the 1st to arrive in class and I arrived 2nd so I flashed her a smile. Know what I got in return? A string of curses and mumbles lah! Together with a stare. And I'm like, what?! So I thought it was only me. Turns out everybody who came into class got the same treatment from her.
So without further ado, she became the topic of the day. Everyone was talking about her. She would talk and curse by herself. Even threw a hand signal to innocent passer-by's. Oh she talks to tables and chairs too.
Freaky but good for us, as case study.
