Leaving The Company - Politics Style @ 5:47 pm

A fellow colleague resigned from The Company. I shall refer the place I work in as The Company from now onwards ala Prison Break because that's how screwed I see this place. Nothing but politics. Anyway... funny how even when you're leaving The Company, you still wanna suck up to the bosses and shower them with glorious and flowery words.

*makes me sick but this is the game most play - if you wanna be a politician, learn from Lee The Apprentice finalist and the people from The Company*

His email to 'us' went something like this:

Dear XXXXXX,
The last two years had been the most wonderful and happiest time of my life while working here in XXX. I am really glad to have met you guys and XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. XXXXXXXX I'm sorry that I have to make such a painful decision by leaving XXXXXXXXXXXX and the company that I love to work with. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and will think back on all the wonderful memories we had shared while working directly or in-directly together.

The underlined ones? They're all crap, trust me. If your most wonderful and happiest time of your life was working in The Company, then you must be sick in the head or something. Painful decision to leave? It won't be painful for me, no siree. And The Company? Not the company I LOVE to work with, no way, not for me. Lastly, wonderful memories?!

Ahhh.... definitely sick in the head. I won't say that.
