The Linguistic Theory @ 8:58 am

Got my assignment result (finally!) after 3 bloody weeks and after I raised the issue to admin. Apparently, they were chasing her too. Anyways, wasn't very pleased with it but guess I kind of deserved it cos I didn't include what I was suppose to include. Damn. I knew my results for this one is gonna suck, and it sure did. By the time I realised I had missed some stuff, it was a lil too late... I've already submitted.

BUT! It's ok.

Now one more assignment to go and I'm done. Then it's time to divert the attention to the exams. To think one year is almost done. Fast, isn't it? Scary...

Yesterday, I taught myself Hangul - the Korean language - and I can proudly say that I can read and write Hangul now! It's so fun and interesting but of course, I'm still far from perfection. Reading and writing is one thing but to know what it means is another thing altogether. Unless it's those simple words but if you ask me to form a sentence, I can cry. Sis took up Korean classes too so it helps.

Their language differs so much from ours. In English, it's Subject -> Object. E.g.:
I had lunch.

But in Hangul, it's Object -> Subject. E.g.:
Lunch, I had.

What other language would I learn next... hmm...

Feels like I'm going back to the time when I first learned my ABCs. Remember we had no idea what ABC stand for? We just know that A stands for Apple, B for Boy and C for Car or rather, A for Awak, B for Budak, C for Cantik... Awak Budak Cantik.

Aren't we creative people.

P/S: I didn't know Andrea De Cruz was a psychologist...
