How do you guys like my new blog skin? All thanks to the great artistry of Drogue ey. Splendid. I fell in love with it almost instantly. Love the mysterious feel.

Fasting has come and gone too soon ey. We're left with about a week more. I must say, I'm quite disappointed with myself...

Anyway, earlier I heard from the traffic news that a mattress was lying in the middle of the expressway. I just had to laugh. Probably the only sound I ever made today. Haha. It was totally unexpected, you know, from the typical traffic news. Even Vernetta Lopez couldn't believe her eyes when she was reading the news.

Someone's shifting house and he or she is gonna find a missing mattress and that mattress is lying somewhere causing a jam. Haha. Now that made my day.

Reading Kenny's blog about his escapades really inspired me and I feel like going on one right now. If only I can just pack my bags and leave with no worries. I don't wanna go to rich places like Europe (more buildings?!!!!). He went to places like Hanoi, Vietnam, Sarawak and lots more and these places are beautiful, I tell you. And he did it like regularly ok.

It's so much fun to bask yourself in the sun, soak your toes in the sand and paddled through the seas. He made me appreciate nature and poverty more. I really wish one day I could walk through the padi fields and enjoy the mountain sceneries, mingle with the locals and just observe what life really is. Come to think of it... now I'm missing my kampung... *sobs*

I don't wanna go to places full of buildings, and so what if they're monumental. Nothing beats nature. But I doubt kids nowadays know how to appreciate such things. Everything has to be developed for them. Cheh.

I've always liked the smell of freedom and dew. Sometimes, the countryside is what we need to get away from the city stresses.
