Hobak. @ 10:15 am

That's Korean for pumpkin.

I was at Giant supermarket last Friday - just felt like doing some grocery shopping and getting lost in a big place - and I came across this at the vege section. It's nice, isn't it? I thought it was pretty creative of Giant to place those pumpkins there and some art materials for kids to draw on them. But I think most were done by some bored, emotional Giant staff who's in the Halloween mood but got to work. It's so tempting to draw on those pumpkins ok. I was tempted myself.

The small one cost about S$8. No prizes for guessing how much that huge one there at the corner cost.

I wanted to get one for Kimchi sis who has a thing for pumpkins cos of her idol but changed my mind. Not like we can make pumpkin pie out of it anyway. Instead, I got her a pair of pink chopsticks cos her idol likes pink.

We also bought some lamb (as in the meat, not the animal) cos we've been craving for some good tasting lamb chops. Now talking about it makes me wanna rush down to Giant to get some more. Heh.

Alas, the interview was over. It only took like what... 8 mins? I had the opportunity to meet with the Heads and Provost of UniSIM earlier and I must say, it was quite a pleasant interview. I was dead nervous a few days before but once it started, I was glad I was myself and they were really warm and nice. Is it weird of me to say that I actually enjoyed the interview? But yes I did.

Now the other hurdle is whether or not they say yes. So let's hope that I'll get it. *prays hard*

Oh and thanks Dad for taking the trouble to fetch me back and forth! I know I very leceh. But I just can't miss the opportunity. He rode so fast that I felt like I've lost my eyebrows when I took the helmet off. I kept touching them to see if they're still intact to my face. My facial muscles seemed to have shifted quite a bit also. Haha.

Oh well. It's good start this week. *smiles*
