Pit-Stops. @ 8:35 am

It was Deepavali yesterday and a colleague has invited us over to his place, so I thought why not. It was interesting to see how Indians celebrate their festivals. Love the food! Traditionally served on a banana leaf...

Our host was the delightful Subra and his compadre. His compadre was the one who entertained us truly. He's adoringly cute and charming, complete with the whole gorgeous Indian suit minus the cartoonish superhero slippers.

But erm... he's not very tall. In fact he's quite small...

Also known as Subra's grandson. I love to see how he's so close with his grandfather. I'm sure he'll grow up to be a fine young man, ready to break many hearts.

And...! It was also the one-month celebration of Subra's newborn grand-daughter! She's the one I was looking forward to see and to hold!

She is so pretty, so delicate and so quiet. Unlike Dr. Inderbir's son. He cried all the time but she... she was so well-behaved. I had to just carry her. I think my maternal instinct is calling out to me once again...

Biologically, it's really impossible for me to get pregnant by myself. It has to work both ways you know, if I wanna get it done as naturally as possible. That's out of the question. My mom will KILL me if I were to ask her to give me another baby sister or baby brother. So that's out too.

So I only can count on my friends for now. HASLINDA?! JUSTIN?! SHAHID?! Who's Justin? That's for me to know and for you guys to find out.

It's weird to think how fast we've grown up, don't you think?. Not too long ago, our parents conceived us. Now, we are able to conceive one ourselves! We're at that age where we have all grown up now. No longer babies who need to be fed and cleaned at 3 or 4 in the morning.

Amazing how evolution works... *awed*

Moving on, let me introduce ZingDo... especially blogged for Ayu cos you're so enthusiastic to try, so I shall do the honour.

ZingDo, is brought to you by Zingrill Holdings Pte Ltd who gave us Breeks Cafe, Seoul Garden and Harvest Foods. ZingDo is a Korean Restaurant which serves traditional Korean cuisine. It's quick, simple yet delicious. And it's Halal-certified!

Oh yes, to enjoy special price slashers (discount privileges), bring along your student card. It's cheaper.

The decor. I love the whole orange theme.

The menu.

My dish. I ordered Cold Tang Woon Seafood or something like that. It has generous servings of mussels, prawns, mushrooms etc, and it's spicy too. It's alot and I thought I couldn't finish it but I did. And it only costs $5.90. There's even ice in it!

I was delighted when I found ice in my dish. Interesting ey? I was hesitant at first but it turned out to be quite delicious.

My sis's dish. The Bimbim Bap with Kimchi Soup. I love love love the Kimchi Soup.

My another sis's dish. Barbecued meat or something. I really can't remember it's really called. As usual, she cleared the entire dish.

I was introduced to this simple delight by sis who frequent this place. I wouldn't know cos I don't venture that far, that often. (It's located at Jurong Entertainment Centre by the way. Right opposite of Jurong East MRT station).

I especially love it's bright, zesty decor and it's affordable prices. I don't really fancy Seoul Garden because I think it's too pricey for such blase food types, so I definitely prefer ZingDo as it serves meals. It's healthy too...

I would take that 45 mins train ride from Pasir Ris just to indulge in its foods. But only when I'm in the mood for it lah, not everytime you know. They should open up more ZingDo's cos people seems to enjoy it. One in the east please so I don't have to travel so far! Maybe I should write in.

Right, that's it for now. Won't be blogging till after the 23rd. Need to squeeze whatever brain juices I have left. So catch up with you guys then!
