It was a sudden momentous change, definitely a revolution, that ended the year in such a tragic way. I am not a politically-driven person and I hate politics but I do keep in touch with the current affairs or world affairs.

Hence, I was shocked to learn that Benazir Bhutto was killed, or rather, assasinated. She was killed by a suicide bomber believed to be an Al-Qaeda's terrorist. Whether you agree or not with her disposition as an opposition party that supports anti-terrorism, you cannot help but be shocked by her demise.

I mean, that is if you know her, in the first place.

She led a screwed up life, I must say. Tho' her intentions were good, she was no doubt a shrewed person. Earlier on, if you recall, they did try to kill her in October but she escaped unscathed. Guess her time to expire has come.

I guess it's a big and sad news because she is was after all a notable figure and icon for most of the Pakistanis and modern feminists alike. She was admirable as a female Muslim leader in the eyes of the Westerners. Tho' I don't quite agree with her corrupted ways...

It's sad to know that evil has once again prevailed. Can't believe they finally took her life. This has gotta be one of the most shocking news of Year 07'.
