The End of Year 2007. @ 10:13 am

Well waddya know! Hady Mirza won the Asian Idol 2007! Quite an irony seeing how Hady was the dark horse out of the 6 and had hailed from the tiniest country as compared to the other 5 nations.
Congrats!I'm not a fan of this whole idol thingey but I did watch bits and pieces of it and tuned in to see just who the asian idol would be. And I literally fell off my seat when they announced Hady as the winner. Cos who would've thought he would win especially when the rest have powerhouse lungs.
But I'm glad that the rest didn't win tho'! Muahahahaha! Unlike the rest, I think Hady really knows how to work the crowd and the girls
lurvveeee him. Oh it was a clearly a joke. I think almost all the Indonesian ladies went back on their idol, Ruben-wannabe Mike, and voted for Hady instead. I read how they went nuts over Hady and I just
had to laugh.
*laughs* And I think all of India's population was sleeping at that time.
*laughs*I have to agree with DJ Glenn that that stoopid judge from M'sia, Paul Moss, sucks big time. Irritates the crap out of me for trying to be the next Simon Cowell. It was so obvious that he was against S'pore. Insulted Hady through and through. What an arse.
Meanwhile, Peterpan rocks! Alisha Chinai's Made In India was awesome! Had me and my sibs moving to the classic and Abhijeet's rendition of Peterpan's Tak Bisakah was seriously hilarious.
Well whatever it is, eat your hearts out people cos at the end of the day, S'pore won the Asian idol and we should be proud of our nation's star ey.

It seems that Year 2007 has come and gone a lil too soon. Seems like a long stretch at the beginning but before we know it, it's year 2008 in 12 days. What have we achieved this year? What have you achieved this year? What have I achieved this year?
Looking back, this year has gotta be one of the most fruitful and dramatic years I've ever lived through. Ties have gone astray and then reunited, now stronger than ever. Had the best and worst times with my loved ones; my friends and family. Laughed and cried with them. And even seen some fall into the bottomless pit...
It was a trying year for some of us, needless to say.
Hopefully, 2008 will be a good one as well. I can only hope for it to be half as good as 2007. Can't really expect too much I guess.
